My approach…… helping you to help yourself ![]()
I am a professionally trained Person-Centred counsellor. This means that through a trusting, genuine therapeutic relationship individuals can fulfil their own potential, live in the moment and view themselves and the world differently.
Counselling is not a magic cure and can often be challenging but the outcomes can be in reuniting yourself with your own inner guide and finding the courage to live life in your own unique way.
I work with individuals, organisations and groups. The issues that people bring are varied, for example;
Trauma and Critical Incidents
Low mood and depression
Loss and bereavement
Relationship problems
Stress and Anxiety related issues
Abuse, sexual, domestic and bullying
HIV/AIDS
I have worked within the NHS, Police Force, Employee Assistance Programmes, Government Departments and HIV/AIDS clinics in Africa.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I work within their ethical framework and commit to their sanctions procedures.
